Back-To-School essentials.

   Hello again everybody!
It's me again for another Back-To-School article as promised earlier and this time I'm going to show you what are my must haves/essentials for my whole school year. Some of the products mentioned have been used last year and some others have been purchased not a while ago.
I'm starting to be nervous about my back to school season, having a new school and new teachers, meeting new people etc is starting to freak me out a little bit so having loads of different products kinda make me feel reassured because I know that pratically no matter what happens, I will be able to fix it. There are quite a lot of things so let's get straight into it!

So first of all obviously, my amazing back pack from jennyfer which has written over it "crazy tiger" I really love it and it's so fun! You might have seen it on my haul about 3 weeks ago maybe so if you wanna see more pics of it just keep scrolling!

"Crazy tiger" back pack - Jennyfer

Inside of my back pack I have some school suplies of course and I also have my (not so) little make up back! I said "make up" but it's not really a make up back to be honest but let's just pretend it is. So I'm going to show you the goodies inside...
First I am going to show you what's on the outside baby kangourou pocket. (Yes, baby kangourou, don't tell me you did not think of it.)

Make up Back - Monoprix / 12.99€
I keep on here a manucure kit from Sephora and it has a little pair of scissors, a thing to cut the cuticles double sided, a block which has 4 sides to polish the nails and a little nail file! I'm so obsessed with my nails, I can't bear having a broke nail or anything so this is definitely a must have for my sake. It comes it this little velvety black box I guess, I don't really know how to describe it...

Manucure kit - Sephora

I also keep some blotting papers from Sephora because whenever I wear liquid foundation I tend to get oily skin so I prefer having those in here even if I'm not going to use them every single days etc...It's just a good thing to have.

Oil blotting papers - Sephora

And lastly, on that baby pocket I have a double mirror also from Sephora, this is something that I personnaly not use that often to be honest because I find annoying when people spend their days looking at themselves that's why I try not to.

Mirror - Sephora

Now moving on to the mama pocket! Things are getting serious guys! First of all, I have tissues but not just tissues, cake tissues! But not just cake tissues, cupcakes tissues! They are must haves for everybody you never know when you will need them!

Tissues - Kleenex

Then, I keep in this mini make up bag I got at Monoprix which is sort of the french boots for free my hair accesories (bobby pins, elastics..) and in this tiny little jewel thing I keep some meds if I have a headache I school or anything like that, it turned out to be so useful because I have some troubles with my glasses so I have headaches way to often...

Mini make up bag - Revlon / free
Staying in the hair theme, the next thing I got is the oh so famous batiste dry shamboo and this is he blush sented? I guess, anyways it's the floral one, I love the smell to be honest but the main reason I got this exact one is because it was the only one on a travel size... This is so useful because oily hairs can appear at any moment through the day so having this will give a little bit of volume, some texture, a good smell and will avoid any awkward moments.

Dry shampoo "floral & fruity ; blush" - batiste

Then I also have here a hand creme from sephora just because I like having soft hands and yeah, this is pretty much the only reason why I keep that in here! It is also purifying so if you don't have a hand sanitizer it's totally okay because it is both ! How great?

Nourishing hand cream - Sephora / 4.90€

Speaking of hand sanitizer, the next thing I keep in this is almond sented and it's pink so I really love it ! I don't have anything more to say, just keep it in here girl.

Hand sanitizer - baccide

Some of you may eat at school or outside and don't get the chance to clean their teeth like me so the next thing that mama kangourou keepsis a mouse spray to keep your breath fresh and lovely! This is definitely a must have to be more peaceful and not to worry about how you smell.

Mouse spray - Fluocaril

The next thing I keep is also to be peaceful to not worry about how I smell, is a travel size deodorant, if you play sports at school or just have like a stress attack tanh this is your best friend! I just like to know that if I end up smelling (this is so glamourous) I am going to be able to just change that!
Travel size deodorant "clear aqua" - Rexona

Next, staying is the "I don't wanna smell" theme, the next thing that I carry with me is a little roll-on perfume from Lolita Lempicka because my perfume can't last all day and I love smelling good (I know you are surprised...) and it's really small because it is long so yeah, I love having that !

Roll-On perfume - Lolita Lempicka / Glossy Box
Obviously, I also keep a lip balm because I tend to get dried lips so easily. This is the Lip Smacker and there is nothing else written so I can't really help you, there is also a basic coca cola one which is mroon but mine is the vanilla so it's more like a basic lip balm but guys, this thing smells amazing and tastes amazing I always end up smelling my lips (you do not wanna see my face while smelling my lips, trust me) and it actually is so moisturizing like I have tried so many moisturizing products and my lips never felt that soft and yummy. If you ever wanna grab it, I got it from Monoprix again but if you are not from France I don't know where you can get it, sorry...

Now moving on to the hair (I said it with the worst voice ever in my head) I obviously keep a little travel size hair brush, and it's just so cute, girly, pretty and lovely! It has this really funny and colorful floral print, and also it is really tiny so I love it! A hair brush is definitely something that I want to have with me because I have so many baby hairs and fly aways, it annoys me like crazy so I like to brush them down.

Travel Size hair brush - random parapharmacy

Of course, fly aways and baby hairs won't stay down without hair spray so I keep a travel size one to control these bad boys. I actually got this with the Toni & Guy sea salt hair spray because I deadly wanted to try it and you can't have it on its own but I like the hair spray too so yeah! It smells so amazing too guys, if you can I would recommend you to smell it, not necessarily buy it but just give it a smell!
Firm hold hair spray - Toni & Guy

This is it for what is on my school makeup/things bag now moving on to random things. The first thing that I can't bear not having it on a school day is my watch, when I go to school I wanna know if I'm late or if I'm doing an exam, knowing how much time I got left just lost ofdifferents things that I need everyday. This is the silver casio watch that you can find at American Apparel I think, my mom had the exact same when she was my age so it's an ancient trend that is coming back. It's really light weight so when I'm writing it does not bother me.

Casio watch - random jewelry

My next essential for this back to school season is a something that I absolutely fancy and it is my Caron perfume. Now if you don't know, Caron has the thinest powder of all brands so it's the best powder you could possibly find if you have acne becuse the powder is that thin that it can't block your pores and they make your own color based on your skin. Anyways, they make the best perfumes and they are so delicate and girly, they also have the best packaging ever, just look at how pretty and well designed the bottle is, it's pure and simple. This perfume smells like rose but not so heavily because I don't really like when a perfume is 100% rose but this is just so floral and summery and it smells like nuts to me a litlle bit, I don't know what it is but there is like a little smell of nuts I don't really know but I find it perfect for school because it lasts quite a lot of time but it's not too strong! This is also perfect for the season, you just got home from holidays, you have a tan and it's still quite warm and you don't wanna take a winter perfume yet.

Perfume "Délice de rose" - Caron

And last but definitely not least, my absolute must haves/essentials/life/IcantLiveWthoutYou are my owl headphones, they are so deadly cute and they costed me 3 or 5€ I think from accesories, they have some hearts on their little owl chests and they are eyes closed so I guess they are very tired.
I just can't live without music, if I go to school without them my whole day is ruined and I know that it's going to be a bad day. Of course, headphones or nothing without music and my favorites songs to listen while going to school are change your life by little mix and heartbreak girl by 5 seconds of Summer. Ouh yeah. These songs give me so much confidence whenever I walk like I feel that nobody can ever hurt me when I have my headphones on, it's ridiculous but I love them anyways. Yes, they are upside-down because they are hald owls-half bat so the sleep that way.

Owl headphones - Accesories

So this is it for my back to school essentials, I hope you guys liked it and I will see you all verry soon for a new blog post,
Loads of love,
Lou xx

Oh and PS : don't forget that owl you need is love ! Winky winky ;)

Back-To-School DIY : customize your agenda.

Hello everybody!
I hope you all had an amazing weekend! As you can see this article is going to be a DIY agenda sort of because obviously you are not doing your own agenda. That would be awesome though... Anyways.
There are some other "Back-To-School" articles coming up so stay tuned guys.
So, three or four years ago I bough a white agenda and I glued some stuff from mickey magasins, candy papers and stuff like that and I thought it was cool... Innocence, innocence.. I need to stay focused god. So, last year I kinda hated all the agendas from supermarkets atc and I could not find a white agenda so what I did is that I got a basic one and I customized it and I got so many compliments about it! I wanted to do it again this year and I also wanted to share my customizing ideas !
Without futher do, let's just get straight into it, shall we?

What you will need :
  1. an agenda
  2. two decopatchs
  3. white sheets
  4. a pair of scissors
  5. gluepen and/or glue stick
  6. markers
  7. ribbons
  8. a pencil
  9. eraser
  10. self adhesive coverring
Look at my cute little owl eraser from accesories awwww I love it so much

My ribbon and glue are from Hema, my decopatchs are from "Loisir et créations" if you're from France and if not than you could probably find it easily, my agenda is from Clairefontaine, it's a really basic one, my little "Lou" markers are a gift from my mom and they are so cute! And finally I got my adhesice thing from a stationery and it's meant for books so you will find it pretty much everywhere.

Start off by cutting out of the sheets a rectangle of the size of your agenda, also cut out of the sheets one rectangle of the size of the side. Than, glue everything together, that way it is going to be completely white. If there is some stains because of the glue just cover them up with white out. It is going to be dirty at first but you'll see that at the end, with decopatchs and the adhesive it won't be noticable.

Now, take your first decopatch, I chose a pink leopard and a floral print. I'm taking my leopard patch and cutting out of the patch a rectangle also of the size of my agenda. From that rectangle, I'm going to cut out a disc. I'm not going to use the disc but I'm going to use the outside. So just go ahead and glue the patch on the white agenda.

While it dries, we are going to do the back of the agenda. Take your second patch and cut a smaller rectangle but as long as your agenda, it is going to go from the top to the bottom of it. Glue it and wait for it to dry.

Once you're leopard patch is well glued, go ahead and take you're pencil to make sure you are not going to fail while writing, and just write the quote of your choice. I chose "Just be yourself" and since I'm obsessed with infinity signs I finshed the "f" with an infinity sign. I chose this quote I live by it and I find that everybody should remind themselves to be who they are, no matter what. Once you are happy of how it is written, just take a black marker and go back over it. For more fun and a girly touch, I took a pink marker and just added so touches now and then.

We are now going back to our floral print patch at the back of the agenda. Take your ribbons and glue them on the sides of your band so that if there is some cut marks they will be hidden by the ribbons! Smart right? This is going to be quite hard to glue so go ahead and press and stay a little while, I'd say about a minute and then turn it and let it dry. If your ribbons are well glued, go ahead and write the rest of the quote (or not, just do it as you like), I did it but I actually don't know why, I'm pretty sure it would be nicer without it, but I did so yeah, haha.

Now, what you are going to do is that you are going to write on the side of the agenda the year if you want to, or your name or pretty much anything you want.

If everything is okay for you, you just have to blend everything together by covering it up with your adhesive coverring thing, I actually don't know the exact name but you know what I mean right?
Here is what it looks like, it's so pretty and girly, I love it, it really is me, I feel like it reflects myself somehow.

Also, like I mentioned earlier, here is another customizing idea, what I did last year is that on the front I took different colors and I wrote "infinity" with an infinity sign obviously, what did you expect from me? And then I took my black marker and I wrote "in that moment I swear we were infinite" which is a quote from "The perks of being a wall flower" that I love. At the back, I used the same colors and the same technique but I wrote "dreams" instead of "infinity" and I put a heart instead of an infinity sign. The quote says "don't let dreams just be dreams" because I'm one of those persons who have big dreams and lots of ideas and stuff but never seem to push themselves to finally do it, that's why I wanted to have that here, as a  daily reminder and it actually kinda help (not the agenda but just reading it all the time and always having this quote on my mind) because I finally took the step of making this blog etc...
Also, as you can see it is a little bit damaged obviously since it passed the whole school year by being thrown, whenever I got bored a would take it and just play or draw etc...

Here it is guys, I hope you liked it, if you ever inspire yourself or do your own agenda, please live me a pic, I would love to see how you rocked that DIY!
I see you all very soon for a new post,
Loads of love,
Lou xx

Save your 10 favorite nail polishes CHALLENGE.

Hi guys!
So as you can see today I'm going to do a challenge! Here it is : "A huricane that only attacks nail polishes is going to hit your house, if you don't tkae the nail polish with you, they will be lost. You can only save 10 nail polishes. Which ones would you take with you and why, tell us their story." (I sort of made it shorter) So now without further do, let's get started !
I'm going to class them starting from my last favorite and finishing by my all time favorite of all time. Yes, I said it twice because once is good but twice is better to describe how perfect this polish is.

The last nail polish that I would save is "Road House Blues" from O.P.I which is a really really dark bluish purple. I like to wear it because it's not a black so you do not feel emo but it's just as pretty as a a black I find. This is a gift from my dad and I'm pretty sure it's one of the reason I like it so much.

"Road House Blues" - O.P.I
The next nail polish that I would take with me is a pastely pink, perfect when you don't really have the time to put on nail polish but still you wan't something on your nails, since it's a light color it dries really fast and it's really easy to apply. My best friend got it for me bevause I couldn't decide which one I prefered between this one and another that it going to be saved in a minute.

"Muchi Muchi" - Essie
The next polish that is going to be saved is also a gift from my brother this time for my birthday and I just realized how many nail polishes I got as a gift, wow. I think it was for my 12th ou 13th birthday which means this is one of my first nail polish, that's why I would save it. This is  the Rouge Noir from Chanel and it's a really chic dark red, it's so dark that sometimes it looks like a black nail polish. This is getting so old, it's really thick so I don't wear as often as I used to but I still adore it.

18 "Rouge Noir" - Chanel
The next winner is from a spanish brand, you can guess how I got it, yes it's a gift. From my mom.She got it at Barcelona and liked the color and she just thought I would like it too, how cute is my mom. I love wearing blue nail polishes simply becuase blue is my favorite color and it matches my eyes, what can I say, I had to save at least one blue!
"B033" - Gio de Giovanni

This is something that I got with my own money, yes sir, I did buy some things with my money. And it's also the nail polish that I got when my best friend got me the muchi muchi as I was saying above. It's a dark red almost burgundy with amazing glitters on it, I just love it so much. It's chic, pretty, girly, perfect as we call it here.

"Leading Lady" - Essie
Next, I would save this Topshop nail polish because I love having really light colors on my nails like white and it's really "in" at the moment. What I really like about it is that it's really opaque compared to the muchi muchi and this is my only Topshop nail polish also, this is why I would save it, my mom brought it to me from London, my dream city.

01 "Off Beat" - Topshop

The next nail polish that is worth to be saved is a bright pink from O.P.I again, it's a must have, that's why I would save it! It never gets old or "has been" or anything like that. It's amazing when you have a tan during summer. I actually got it in my July Glossy Box!
"Kiss me on my Tulips" - O.P.I

TOP 3 guys, we are almost here.

The next nail polish that I would save is the prettiest hot red I've ever since, and it's also from O.P.I and it's also a gift from my dad. Whenever I don't know what to wear or whenever I feel like having a hot color on my nails I would wear this one. I love evrything about it, everything.

"So hot it Berns" - O.P.I

The second bottle that I would take with me is a shimmery bluish mauve from H&M. It is such a good surprise, this thing lasts forever, I kept it on my feet for a month, without top coat. I still don't understand how to be honest but it did so that's why I would keep it and it's also areally pretty color that I love so yeah and plus I bought it myself!

"Pepermint fusion" - H&M

And finally, this is th emost gorgeos nail polish Ihave ever seen, I'm not even kidding, I'm dead serious, I'm in love with it, it's just perfection I can't even say how much I love it. I need to kkep calm but I just can't, the fangirl is taking over. Okay, calm. So, this is a electric blue from Essie. Now, I've search this exact shade for ages because I actually saw it on instagram I think and I was like "wow, I need it in my life" so I did pretty much all the shops that could possibly have it and I finally found it at Marrionaud! I'm so happy you came into my life Mr. nail polish. My ring is from forever 21 by the way and the polish is called "prefection". No just kidding, this is how I call it, it actually is "Butter Please".

"Butter please" - Essie
This is it guys, don't worry, nobody got hurt during the nail polish hurricane, my favs have been saved! That wasn't funny, I know.
I hope you enjoyed it and I challenge you to do the same ! Leave a link to your blog/youtube so I can check yours,
I see you all very soon for a new blog post,
Loads of love,
Lou xx

August 2013 Glossy Box (France).

 Hi guys!
I hope that you are all alright and that you are enjoying your holidays!
Today we are all here together to celebrate the union of...the august glossy box and me. Just kidding. I'm such in a good mood that I'm gonna write loads of stupid things so I guess I should get started, right?

So the first thing I got is a facial spray that refreshes and moisturizes. I absolutely love the packaging, it's really practical and pretty! I'm excited about this product. This is from anatomicals.

The next thing I got is this Nail Inc. nail polish in a really pretty pink shade, it is called "flammable". It's in a tiny bottle so I feel like I'm not going to like how it goes on the nails but I'll let you guys updated about it.

The next thing I got is something that I'm glad it came on the mail, it's sort of a jumbo pen because it's really big but it's not as oily as a jumbo pen. It's 2-in-1 which means you can use this as an eyeliner or an eye shadow. I got this really pretty dark fushia, almost burgundy.

The next thing that was on my box is a hair product. I got a sample of the Schwarzkopf (oh wow that was hard to write) Hair repair shampoo for dried hair. It smells really good, I'm looking forward to try this!

Now, this is a bit disappointing. It's not the product that is disappointing but it's the time it arrived that is. I got it today and I'm not going back to the beach so I won't need it, I find really weird that they put this on the august glossy box.. Anyways, these are beach wipes that removes the salt and they are refreshing. When you think about it, this is a must have when you are a t the beach but now that I'm in Paris I don't know what I'm going to do with these... I might keep them for next year.

And the last thing I got is not from any special brand, it's from Glossy Box and it's a relaxing gel eye mask. You basically keep it on the fridge (or not) and put them on like glasses and it's refreshing and nice to just have it on the eyes to relax. I'm lovin' it.

This is it guys, I hope you liked the products,
I will be doing a BACK TO SCHOOL series, I'm so excited so please stay tuned for amazing things coming up!
I see you all very soon,
   Loads of love,
   Lou xx
